#2: THE “KLINGENBERG” ROOM
Named for the Klingenberg family who owned the property in the late 1800s, this room has a floral wallpaper and is decorated with antique furniture and modern art. A classic floral dream!
#3: THE BIRD ROOM
Just like the Royal Palace in Oslo, Sanden has its own “Bird Room”. This room has views towards both garden and fjord- the perfect combination of small birds and morning sun!
#4: THE RETRO ROOM
Located on the first floor and furnished with furniture from the 1950’s. With a view towards both the garden and the fjord, this room has afternoon and evening sun in the summer.
#5: THE GARDEN ROOM
Sandens own “Garden Room” has romantic floral wallpaper and classic furniture. This ground-level room has a view of the Rococo-style garden and enjoys morning sun in the summer.
#6: THE POP ART ROOM
The room has been named to honour the owner who gave her name to Vaskarannaloftet. Located in the former boathouse, this room has its own entrance, with a garden bench outside.

This house was originally built in 1898 as a “haberdashery”— a shop for sowing equipment— on the old main street. Today it is renovated into a idyllic cottage for your old town stay.
